About Me

When deciding which acupuncturist to choose please ensure that you choose a member of the British Acupuncture Council. It is also essential that you feel completely comfortable with your practitioner.

I am totally committed to the wonderful art of acupuncture. I decided to study acupuncture because treatment transformed my life. Since beginning acupuncture I have become healthier, more relaxed and content with my life and who I am as a person.

Key Qualifications

I am a Traditional Five Element Acupuncturist and I graduated from the College of Traditional Acupuncture in 2003 with a BA (Hons) degree. I’m a Member of the British Acupuncture Council (BAcC).

Specialist Treatments

I offer a range of specialist treatments and in particular specialise in treating fertility issues, anxiety and depression.

Background

Although I am a fully qualified Five Element Acupuncturist I love to learn more and more about this ancient art. Since graduating I have studied extensively with a number of eminent master acupuncturists. I have completed a Masters module for the treatment of gynaecological problems, infertility and assisted fertility (IVF). In 2014 I studied ‘It Takes Two – Male and Female Infertility’ with Gill Glover.

I taught at the College of Traditional Acupuncture in Warwick from 2009 until its sad closure in 2012.

I study Tai Chi, Ta Lu and meditation with Alan Smith of Heartland Tai Chi School and I have completed a 2-year personal development course with Richard Farmer, Rising Dragon Tai Chi.

I have recently completed a six-week ‘Mindfulness’ course with Wendy Harvey in Hereford. I am becoming increasing interested in emotional well-being and its affect on mental and physical health.

In July 2013 I studied with Stephen Lee and am qualified to use electro acupuncture for the treatment of many musculoskeletal problems including arthritic joints, tennis elbow, sciatica and plantar fasciitis.

Throughout 2015 I have studied ‘Focusing for Acupuncturists’ at The College of Integrated Chinese Medicine, with Angie Hicks.

I am a member of a local acupuncturist support and education network and regularly attend courses at the College of Integrated Chinese Medicine.

To find out if I am the right acupuncturist for you, give me a ring and have a chat.

Alternatively, if you would like to book me to talk to a group, I would be delighted. I regularly talk to groups in Worcestershire and Herefordshire. I do not charge for these talks but invite you to donate something to either St Richard’s Hospice or the Acorn Children’s Hospice.
